Process
The wooden bodies of each table are built with interlocking layers of wood. Each layer is pre-cut roughly to the shape of the final form. The layers are then glued together, creating the overall body of the table. This approach reduces the amount of wasted material - which in turn reduces materials costs and refuse. It also means we are taking only what we absolutely need out of the environment to make each table, lessening the impact on our vital natural forest resources.
Each table is created by hand from beginning to end. The final shape is achieved by painstaking carving and sanding of the surface. The notch for the agate slabs are hand cut to fit the unique shape of each stone. Slight differences are inevitable, making each table completely unique.
